| Vigseln kommer att hållas 1/8 16.30 i Vänersnäs kyrka. Eftersom vigseln börjar 16.30 uppskattar vi om våra nära och kära finns på plats lite tidigare. Bröllopsfesten kommer hållas i Gaddesanna - Gardis som är Jens familjs sommarlycka. Brudskål, middag, underhållning och såklart dans kommer ske i ett stort tält. För den frusne kan en filt vara bra att ha med så hela kvällen blir lika härlig som vi hoppas! Den som, utöver sin närvaro, vill bidra på något särskillt sätt till festligheterna är mer än välkommen att göra det! The ceremony will be held the 1/8 16.30 in the church at Vänersnäs. Since the ceremony will start at 16.30 we would appreciate if our guests could be there a bit earlier. The wedding party will be held at Gaddesanna - Gardis, where Jens' family have their summerhouses. Wedding toast, dinner, entertainment and of course dance will be held in a big tent. To make sure the evening gets as great as we hope, it can be good to bring an extra pullover and/or a blanket for the late hours. Those that, in addition to their company, want to contribute to the festivities are more than welcome to do so! | Boende Solgården Bröllopsfesten kommer hållas på Affe & Anna-Karins sommarstugetomt i Gaddesanna. 200-300m bort, nere vid Vänerns strand finns en lägergård som vi fått hyra. Där kan våra gäster bo, antingen i ett av de stora husen eller i någon av småstugorna. Det finns tillgång till toalett, badrum med dusch och kök men ingen service på plats. Gästerna tar själva med lakan, handdukar och mat och städar dessutom rummet vid avslutad vistelse. Solgården är ett budgetalternativ som ligger mycket nära till festen och i direkt anslutning till badstranden! Den som vill bo här får anmäla antal personer som vill bo ihop och vilka nätter det gäller så fördelar vi rummen. Ronnums herrgård Ronnums herrgård ligger på Vargön ungefär en mil från festplatsen. Den som vill ha ett boende i en vacker herrgård med anor från 1300-talet kan titta in på Ronnums hemsida. För att utnyttja vårt bröllopserbjudande, 995kr/dubbelrum inklusive herrgårdsfrukost, ange boknings nr: 19030630. Hotellet är populärt så boka i tid men tänk på att ni själva måste lösa transporten. Övrigt Både Trollhättan och Vänersborg ligger 1,5-2 mil från festplatsen och övriga hotell hittar man till exempel här: booking.com. Tänk på att det inte finns kollektivtrafik utan att ni själva måste lösa transporten. Transport Flyg Närmsta stora flygplats är Landvetter eller Göteborg City airport. Därifrån går flygbussarna till Göteborg. Biljetter kan köpas via hemsidan men också på flygplatsen eller direkt i bussen. Where to stay Solgården The wedding reception will be held in Jens' parents' garden at the summer house in Gaddesanna. We have rented Solgården, a camp situated, 200-300 meters from where the party will take place. Our guests may stay in one of two big houses or in little cabines. This is a great budget alternative next to the beach of Swedens bigest lake Vänern! It offers basic living with common WCs, showers and kitchens but without any service on place. Guests need to bring their own linnen and towells as well as food. They are also asked to clean the rooms on departure. If you want to stay at Solgården, please let us know who you could share rooms with and wich nights you want to stay there. Send an e-mail to wedding@beatrice-jens.com We will then distribute the rooms. The price will be around 250sek per person and night. You can see what it looks like on Solgården's website. Ronnums herrgård Is a mansion situated on Vargön about 10km from the wedding. If you want to stay in a beautiful environement and a house built in the thirteen hundreds, see more at Ronnum homepage. To use our special wedding offer with 995sek per double room, breakfast included, indicate booking reference 19030630. The hotell is popular so make your reservation in time but remember you have to make the arrangements for transportation yourself (no public transportation). From there you may go to Gothenburg by bus: flygbussarna (tickets can be bought on the site, at the airport or on the bus). From there you may take the train. Train For thouse who will travel by train, all the way or just from Gothenburg, the endstation is Trollhättan station. See Swedish railways. If you need a ride from there the day before the wedding or during the morning please let us know. We would need your arrival details to organise the ride (see RSVP). Between the church and the party The distance is about 6km. Please let us know if there's space left in your car or if you need a ride. | Vi hoppas få se er alla på plats för att fira vår stora dag. Det betyder väldigt mycket för oss att bli herr & fru i er närvaro! Om ni råkar ha ytterligare lite tid över innan eller efter festligheterna hoppas vi att ni tar tillfället i akt att njuta av omgivningen. Ta ett dopp i Vänern, eller varför inte göra en kort vandring upp på Halleberg för att besöka grottorna, utsikten är inte fy skam den heller! Ni svenskspråkiga kommer säkert på roliga utflykter i området, därför är nedan tips främst för våra utländska gäster. |
We hope all of you are able to join us in the celebrations on our big day. It would mean a lot to us to be married in your presence! If you do happen to have some spare time before or after the festivities we hope you take the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings. Take a swim in Vänern, the largest lake in the European Union and third in all of Europe. If you get tired of swimming you can take a short hike up Halleberg to visit the caves or to just enjoy the view. |
First of all, Sweden is a big country and, as an example, it would take almost as much time to drive from Jens' parents' to mine as it takes them to drive to Brussels. And then neither of them live in the exteremities of this long country! Sweden is almost 15 times the size of Belgium but has fewer habitants. Therefore, while in Sweden, you should take the oppurtunity to enjoy the Scandinavian nature!
We, of course, hope for great wedding weather even if a little rain won't stop us. However we hope to give you the oppututnity to enjoy the biggest one of Sweden's 227 000 lakes, Vänern, wich is right next to were the wedding will take place. Don't forget to bring your swimsuite; hopefully the water will be warm!
Sweden has many different archipelago landscapes to offer. Those that want to go North should go see the High Coast (höga kusten) were mountains come up from the see!
Some of you might visit Gothenburg wich is a nice city with a warm social climate (I claim the Gothenburg humour is quite the same as in Belgium, both like word play!). You may find more info here: Göteborg If you go to the popular amusement park Liseberg you should try the 5-kamp! While playing the "femkamp", you and your friends choose five different games and compete on who shoots most rubber ducks in a minute or who throws most balls trouugh a basket in the same amount of time. If you're up for a drink, Avenyn is the place to be. Don't let the prices scare you away, in Sweden it's fine not to give tips and toilets are usually free!
If you like big cities you should absolutely stop by Stockholm!
There are many more things to see and do in Sweden and you can get various information on Visit Sweden. Since accomondation is quite costly, enjoy the Allemansrätten giving you the right to put up a tent in someone elses woods!
